About the event

Bringing together policymakers, researchers, industry representatives, energy practitioners and other stakeholders from across the Atlantic Area, the event will showcase the key achievements of the HY4RES project while creating a space for discussion on the future deployment and replication of hybrid renewable energy solutions.

Over the past three years, HY4RES has explored how different renewable energy sources can work together within hybrid, smart and sustainable systems. Through applied research, technology development and real-world demonstration across four pilot sites in Europe, the project has investigated solutions to improve interoperability, optimise energy management and support more resilient local energy systems.

But how can these solutions move beyond demonstration? What is needed to replicate hybrid renewable energy systems across different sectors and territories? And how can political, regulatory and market conditions support their wider uptake?
