The HY4RES project is pleased to invite stakeholders to an Open Day & Workshop taking place on 25 June 2026 at the Moinho do Salto Energy Community pilot site (Casa do Salto, Paredes, Portugal). This event will provide a unique opportunity to discover how hybrid renewable energy systems can support more sustainable and resilient energy communities.

Expert presentations and innovative tools

During the visit, researchers and project partners will present the technological innovations developed within HY4RES, including renewable energy integration strategies and a 360° virtual reality visualisation of the pilot site. These tools help illustrate how hybrid renewable energy systems can be designed, monitored and optimised in real-world conditions.

Speakers include representatives from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), IG Energy and FEUP, who will share their experience in the conception, design, construction and operation of the pilot installation.

Exchange knowledge and explore future opportunities

Beyond the technical presentations, the event will provide a valuable opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange between researchers, energy professionals, local stakeholders and organisations interested in sustainable energy solutions. Discussions will explore how hybrid renewable energy systems can contribute to stronger energy autonomy, resilience and sustainability in local communities.
